I have been trying to create a mega menu for more than two months. First I made a good-faith effort on my own, then asked for help via this blog, then reached out to Editor X /WIX team.
No one from the Editor X team responded. I needed to call customer service, then file a complaint. The Editor X team eventually responded via email but the response time was very slow, and significant details were missed. Two months later I still do not have a functioning menu.
The problem has an easy solution. The Editor X management team needs to let their technicians speak directly with customers. Email is good for certain things, but not everything. Let me speak with an Editor X technician who knows code for 10 minutes. I could ask my questions, get the answers I need, and ask follow-up questions if necessary.
I hope the Editor X management team encourages technicians to speak via phone with customers - the Editor X platform will flourish. If not, the platform will never scale up and never reach a wider audience and it will deserve to fail.
I hope Editor X management sees this and has a technician reach out to me via phone.
Hey @iracindy6490! Sorry to hear this has been your experience. I wonder if I might be able to help. I've taken a read through your previous post looking for some help, and a quick look at your site. From my understanding, you have a section underneath the header with the multistate box in it. I think you might have glanced over a step within the tutorial that explains that the multistate box needs to be moved and attached to the header so that it works across all pages. The header is a "global" part of the site, so attaching the multistate box to it ensures it's present across all pages and the masterpage code (code that effects "global" elements) can work alongside it. I'm linking the part of the video that explains this step and hopefully will help you out - https://youtu.be/jxiTE6vKbxw?t=633 Let me know how it goes, and good luck :)
